How do you view extended properties with EWSEditor?

Jan 28, 2015 at 11:29 AM
In code, I'm creating an extended property like this:
Guid OurPSId = new Guid( "{our Guid here}" );
ExtendedPropertyDefinition epd = new ExtendedPropertyDefinition( OurPSId, 0, MapiPropertyType.String );
... and I add a value of that type to a message.

Programmatically, I can retrieve the property value from the message, so I know it's there.

How can I view it with EWSEditor?

I assume the Extended Property Resolver facility is what I need to use, but how do I specify the property correctly? I've tried entering the string for the guid in the Property Set field, but that hasn't worked for me.

Ignore me, I was using the tool incorrectly. I should have used View, Configure Detail Property Set, and added my extended property there. After that the main view shows the property.
